Indiana Pacers
If Victor Oladipo had not gone down with a season-ending injury, making a move for Mike Conley would make even more sense for the Indiana Pacers. However, if the Pacers still want to make a push in a wide open Eastern Conference, they could still test the Conley test waters.
Conley is having a great bounce back season, after missing nearly all of last season due to injury, averaging 20 points and six assists on 43 percent shooting from the field and 36 percent from 3-point range.
Adding a player like Conley won’t exactly offset the loss of Oladipo, but could help keep the Pacers competitive in any potential playoff series down the line. Plus, a Conely-Oladipo duo for next season could be one of the most deadly back-courts in all the NBA.
