Detroit Pistons
The Detroit Pistons, after their quick start, have been pretty much a disaster for most of the season. The Pistons are 10th in the Eastern Conference, and 21-27. They’re two games back of the 8th and final playoff spot, but have some work to do if they want to finish in the top 8.
This roster is desperate for a shakeup, but that’s easier said than done (with the amount of money they have guaranteed moving forward). But trading for a player like Mike Conley wouldn’t exactly be the worst of moves, if they could find a way to make the money work for all parties involved.
Moving Reggie Jackson would be the first obstacle, but if they could find a spot for him, possibly on a third team, the Pistons could find a way. It won’t be easy, but if the Pistons could land a productive and reliable point guard, perhaps their outlook could change.
