22. Washington Wizards (21-27)
Since losing John Wall, the Washington Wizards have been subject to the rumor mill. They’re a team that should probably think hard about possibly blowing it all up. But, at the same time, they have one problematic contract in Wall.
The supermax kicks in next year, and it’s going to be difficult to find a team that is willing to pay Wall $40 million over the next few years. They could easily move a few of their other pieces, but don’t want to give up on making the playoffs just yet.
If they continue to fall of playoff pace in the East, it wouldn’t be surprising to see this team move a player like Otto Porter Jr. at the trade deadline.
