13. Brooklyn Nets (27-23)
It’s weird to type and talk about the Brooklyn Nets as the 13th best team in the Western Conference. But that is a reality that we’re currently living in at the moment. Considering that this team has lost two starting caliber players at this point in the season, and that the Nets are still one of the best 8 teams in the East is amazing.
The job that this entire front office and coaches have done can’t be overlooked. D’Angelo Russell is finally looking like a No. 2 overall pick and there are a number of young, promising pieces that are just scratching the surface on their potential.
The future is bright for the Nets. And making the playoffs this season would be a welcomed surprise.
