11. Utah Jazz (28-22)
During the month of January, the Utah Jazz really made up some ground in the Western Conference. They went 10-3 in the month, and Donovan Michell has really come on strong after struggling to start the year.
The Jazz are 6th in the conference, but only three games back of the 3rd seed in the conference. Mitchell averaged 28 points, five assists and five rebounds 45 percent shooting from the field and 42 percent from 3-point range in January.
If the Jazz continue on this pace, along with adding a piece at the NBA Trade Deadline, there’s no question that the Jazz will continue to rise up the standings out West.
