1. Boston Celtics
What an offer would look like:
Pelicans Get: Marcus Smart, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, first-round pick
Celtics Get: Anthony Davis, Darius Miller
It’s no surprise that the Boston Celtics are the team that could offer the most, and their potential offer begins with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, two of their better young players on the roster. However, due to the fact that Tatum had somewhat of a rough season, the Celtics would almost have to include a bit more.
But if the Celtics plan on re-signing Kyrie Irving, they could afford to lose some of their depth. This team would be all-in on winning a championship in 2019-20, with the core of Kyrie, AD, Gordon Hayward and Al Horford.

This offer would have to come during the off-season, considering that they can’t add Davis to the roster unless Kyrie is traded (unlikely) or opts out of his current deal. If the Pelicans can wait until the summer, the Celtics have to be considered as one of the favorites to land AD.
