What an offer would look like: 

Pelicans Get: Ben Simmons, Markelle Fultz, Wilson Chandler 

76ers Get: Anthony Davis 

There is an asterisk next to the Philadelphia 76ers because there’s a good chance that the team would want to avoid trading Ben Simmons, and there are already whispers that it won’t be done, but for the sake of argument let’s just ignore all that.

If everyone in Philly was available to be moved, the Sixers would actually have a great offer to place on the table for New Orleans. It would revolve around Ben Simmons, who while has been one of the best young players in the NBA has his questions.

The Pelicans might as well take a flier on Markelle Fultz too, especially if they can’t pry a first-round pick way from the Sixers. Again, this would largely depend on Simmons moving to New Orleans, but, hey, he went to school in Louisiana.
