Pelicans Get: C.J. McCollum, Anfernee Simmons, Gary Trent Jr., Zach Collins, first-round pick
While Portland reaching a deal with the team that swept them last season and sent them home packing could be a long-shot, there is still a chance they could make an offer for Anthony Davis at the NBA Trade Deadline.
Davis would be a huge upgrade over McCollum and would give Damian Lillard a killer pick-and-roll partner. While the duo of McCollum, Lillard have been one of the best back-courts in the NBA for the past few years, there’s a case to be made that they’ve hit their ceiling.
Perhaps Anthony Davis, and Lillard, could chance the outlook for the Blazers.
The NBA trade deadline is 3:00 Pm on February 7th and one thing is certain, if Anthony Davis is traded it will send shock waves throughout the league and change the NBA for years to come.
