17. Charlotte Hornets (26-26)
Entering this season, many expected that the Charlotte Hornets would be one of the real players at the NBA Trade Deadline. The biggest reason being that they would shop Kemba Walker, who is an unrestricted free agent after the season.
From everything we’ve heard though, it appears that the Hornets will not open the phones for Walker talks and will continue down the path of signing him to a long-term extension during the off-season.
Charlotte is going to give the keys of the franchise to Walker, and with the way that he’s played this season it’s looking like a good idea. Without much help, Walker has led the Hornets to just two games back of the 6th seed so far.
