Terrence Ross, Orlando Magic

Likeliness to get traded: 8/10

Terrence Ross is another interesting piece who is having a career year this year. He is averaging 13.9 points per game on 37.5 percent from 3. He could easily been inserted into a lot of teams starting lineup at SG or SF, but would also be a great bench piece.

Ross has always been a great athlete and a solid defender. He is now shooting the 3 this year at one of the highest percentages of his career and has attempted more 3’s per game than any season of his career. This is turning him into the ideal “3 and D” guy, which is the most coveted type of role player in the NBA.

His contract isn’t quite as good as Rodney Hood’s, but the $10 million he’s making this year isn’t overpaying him by any means either. The Magic want to deal him and I believe he will generate a lot of interest, so I expect him to be on a different team by the time the trade deadline passes.

Trade Idea: Rockets trade Brandon Knight, Marquese Chriss, and a second-round pick to the Magic for Terrence Ross and Jonathon Simmons
