Jonathon Simmons, Orlando Magic
Likeliness to get traded: 6/10
Unlike most of the shooting guards on this list, Jonathon Simmons is not a great 3-point shooter, but he does play hard. And even in a perimeter-oriented NBA, that should still count for something.
That’s where his value stems from. He is going to play hard and be a difference maker on the defensive end for a team. He’s another guy whose stats aren’t eye popping, but he can help a team out in a lot of ways that you don’t see in the box score.
Simmons won’t be a sexy move for any team, but could pay dividends for a squad that is looking for depth at the wing position.
Trade Idea: Kings send Yogi Ferrell and a second-round pick to the Magic for Jonathon Simmons
