Kemba Walker, Charlotte Hornets

Likeliness to get traded: 2/10

Last year on this list I would’ve had Kemba’s odds of being traded a lot higher. I thought for sure he would be dealt last season, but this season the Hornets seem to have decided to keep Kemba and try to build around him.

Kemba is having a career year this season with averages of 24.7 points and 5.6 assists per game, so they might explain there will to hang onto him. I think instead of dealing him they will be active buyers at the deadline trying to get help for Kemba. I would love to see him to dealt to a contender or receive some legit help at this year’s trade deadline.

There would be a bunch of teams interested in Kemba if the Hornets do decide to go full rebuild and trade him, but I just don’t see that happening. He is on the final year of his contract and seems to have the hunger to compete, so there is definitely a small chance that he is dealt if the Hornets feel that they are unable to get enough help to persuade him to stay this summer.

Trade Idea: The Spurs send Dejounte Murray, Lonnie Walker IV, Jakob Poeltl, Marco Belinelli, and a first-round pick for Kemba Walker
