Marc Gasol, Memphis Grizzlies

Likeliness to get traded: 8/10

Marc Gasol has had a great career. He is a former defensive player of the year, has been an All-Star three times, and has been selected to the All-NBA first team once and second team once as well.

While this is a solid career so far, he’s aging and the Grizzlies aren’t going to make the playoffs this year. Thus, the Grizzlies have smartly made Gasol (along with Conley) available for trade at the deadline.

Being that Gasol is 34 and is set to make $25 million next season (if he opts in), a lot of teams will stay way from him on the trade market, but Gasol still has a lot left in the tank. He is averaging 15.4 points and 8.7 rebounds per game to go along with a great passing ability for a 7-footer and is still a pretty solid defender for a 34-year-old. Somebody will make a move for Gasol and they will likely get a few more years of good basketball out of him.

Trade Idea: Trail Blazers trade Jusuf Nurkic, Evan Turner, Caleb Swanigan, and a first-round pick to the Grizzlies for Marc Gasol and Garrett Temple.
