NBA Trade Deadline 2019: 7 bold predictions for deadline day

The Houston Rockets are generally one of the most active teams leading up to the NBA Trade Deadline. However, this year they don’t have much room to play with. And they don’t exactly have enticing assets on their roster.

Which leaves me to believe that there’s a good chance that they elect to stand pat at the NBA Trade Deadline and hope that they can make a real splash in the buyout market, where we could see names like Wayne Ellington (if he isn’t moved), Wesley Matthews, DeAndre Jordan, and others pop up.

This goes against everything that we know about Daryl Morey, but sometimes you’re handcuffed by your roster, and in this case I believe that’s exactly what the Rockets are at the moment.
