15. Sacramento Kings (30-26)

The Sacramento Kings have been one of the most interesting stories in the NBA this season, and as we approach the NBA All-Star break they are a serious threat to steal one of the final playoff spots in the Western Conference.

The difficult part is that should they make the playoffs, that would mean they held of the Lakers, and that’s something that seems almost too much for this team to achieve this season. But they did secure some reinforcements in Harrison Barnes, who comes over from the Mavericks.

Barnes will fill a role that was one of the team’s biggest needs this year, as they didn’t have a true small forward starting for much of the season. That is no longer the case, and the Kings will have a say in who makes the playoffs in the bottom of the West.
