30. New York Knicks (10-45)

I don’t think anyone would argue with the fact that the New York Knicks are clearly the worst team in the NBA at the moment. And they made their intentions for the rest of the season known at the NBA Trade Deadline.

The Knicks traded Kristaps Porzingis (and other salary) for expiring contracts and Dennis Smith Jr. There’s no question that they got worse at the deadline, and all their hopes fall in how effective they can be in attracting the big-name in the off-season.

In addition to being big players in free agency, they will likely also land a top 3 pick, if not the No. 1 overall, in this year’s NBA Draft. That could mean Zion Williamson. And if the Knicks can accomplish that, I don’t think anyone will be questioning this team’s moves at the deadline.
