7. Boston Celtics (35-21)

The Boston Celtics, for the most part, have been one of the most disappointing teams in the regular season so far. Coming into this season, this is a team that many expected to bulldoze their way through the Eastern Conference. They, for the lack of better words, haven’t done that at all this season.

Gordon Hayward still doesn’t look like his former self, there area ton of whispers surrounding Kyrie Irving‘s future and Jayson Tatum hasn’t exactly taken the step forward that many expected him to take during the summer.

On the surface, the Celtics are having a fine season. They are almost 15 games over .500 and will likely finish as one of the top 4 seeds in the East, but if they don’t make a real run in the playoffs and qualify for the NBA Finals, there’s no question that this season will be looked back as a disappointment.
