26. Atlanta Hawks (18-38)

The Atlanta Hawks are another team that surprising remained relatively quiet at the NBA Trade Deadline. The only deal that they made on deadline day was a relatively irrelevant, and included them acquiring Shelving Mack rom the Grizzlies.

It was interesting that the team didn’t move Kent Bazemore at the deadline, who was the subject of many rumors over the last few weeks. Jermey Lin is a player that will likely be bought out in the coming weeks, and one that could still help a team making a second-half push for the playoffs.

For the Hawks, it’s now a question as to what this team should target at the draft. They will have options, with a likely top 5 pick, and this is one of those top-heavy years. Adding another top pick to this already talented young core could go a long way in this team competing sooner rather than later in the weak Eastern Conference.
