23. New Orleans Pelicans (25-32)
The New Orleans Pelicans were the talk of the NBA Trade Deadline. Specifically, the “will they or won’t they” game that they were featured in when it came to a potential deal for Anthony Davis with the Lakers or any other of the handful of other teams interested.
In the end, the Pelicans elected to keep Davis on their roster for the remainder of the season (at least), and will probably attempt to move him again during the summer, probably at the draft or after July 1 (when the Celtics could officially enter the sweepstakes.
It would be extremely surprising to see AD on the Pelicans roster next season, and the hope is that the team could get a huge return for the player that has kept this franchise afloat for the past few seasons.
