7. Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors

Despite suffering a few injuries this season, Stephen Curry has put up another dominate season. The iconic shooter that best symoolizes the 2010’s 3-point space-and-pace basketball era has only gotten better at shredding defenses and getting off his picture perfect jump shot from any and every location on a basketball court.

When Curry has been available to play this season his offensive exploits in combination with his supreme shooting teammates Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant have made the Golden State Warriors the best team in the West Conference, easily. Curry’s play yet again this season keeps him in the MVP conversation.

6. Paul George, OKC Thunder

In his second season with the Thunder, Paul George has shown why he was considered the best two-way player in the NBA just a few years ago. Before a horrendous injury, George was one of the best all-around young players in the entire NBA. This year George has put it back all together.

George is having a MVP worthy season from both sides of the court. He and teammate former MVP Russell Westbrook have formed a incredible two-way tandem that dominates on both ends of the basketball court and that has pivoted the OKC Thunder to being one of the top two or three teams in the entire Western Conference this season. George play continues to make headlines and showcase what kind of threat OKC can be to winning a championship this season.
