In just his third NBA season, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid have developed into one of the best players in the entire NBA. Embiid is a monster on both ends of the basketball court. On offense, Embiid is a top 10 scorer with hardly comparable abilities on the interior as well as the ability to shoot the ball well from the outside.
This season, Embiid has also become one of the NBA’s elite rim protector as evident by his excelling blocks statistics. Embiid is averaging over two blocks per game and is top 10 in total blocks and in blocks per game.
As the Sixers continues their upwards swing in the Eastern Conference, there’s no question that Embiid will continue to move his way up the MVP rankings.
