In this weeks edition of our NBA Power Rankings, we explore the two best teams in the NBA and whether they’ll meet in the Finals this season

For most of the season, the two best teams in the NBA have largely been the Golden State Warriors, out West, and the Milwaukee Bucks, out East. Interestingly, they’re both constructed quite differently.

The Warriors are led by Stephen Curry, a sharpshooting 3-point specialist/do-it-all scoring point guard, and Kevin Durant, arguably the league’s best player at the moment. They are flanked by three other all-stars – which sounds insanely absurd to say out loud – in Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and DeMarcus Cousins.

On the other hand, the Bucks have been powered by the exceptional play of Giannis Antetokounmpo, but he’s a different type of star. He’s more of a throwback, and doesn’t really rely on the 3-point shot, unlike many of his superstar counterparts – he’s only shooting 22 percent from deep, on just over two attempts per contest.

Even though the Bucks are top 5 in the NBA in 3-point attempts per game, Giannis is the exact opposite of where the NBA is trending towards. If these two teams would meet in the NBA Finals, it would certainly feature somewhat of a clash of styles. Especially between the team’s two superstars.

Will we get a Warriors vs. Bucks NBA Finals matchup this season? Well, that’s not something we can answer at the moment, but we shouldn’t be surprised if we get it.

As we approach the final few days of the NBA All-Star break, here is this week’s NBA Power Rankings.
