18. Detroit Pistons (26-30)

The Detroit Pistons are 6-4 in their last 10 games, and aren’t playing at a high level by any stretch of the imagination but they’re certainly going to be in the running for one of the final playoff spots in the Eastern Conference.

Blake Griffin has been having a fine season for the Pistons, but apart from his bounce-back season there hasn’t been much more for Detroit to be happy about. They traded away Stanley Johnson at the NBA Trade Deadline, and the hope is that Thon Maker can develop under their twin towers.

Making the playoffs would no question be a successful season for the Pistons but, make no mistake, this team still leaves much to be desired.
