7. Philadelphia 76ers

After being bold during the season by making numerous trades to make them (on paper) contenders this season in the Eastern Conference, including making moves for both Jimmy Butler and Tobias Harris, you can bet that the pressure is rising for the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Sixers have arguably the best staring 5 in the NBA, not including the Warriors (because theirs is absolutely absurd). They will be one of the handful of favorites, and probably another trendy pick when it comes to predicting who will come out of the East.

Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid now have some experience under the belt, and won’t be looked upon as rookies anymore. There will be expectations for this team headed into the post-season, and I’m interested to see how they react.
