Detroit Pistons (26-30)

Current Standing: 8th

Remaining Schedule Strength: 24th

Led by Blake Griffin, who has had, for the most part, an injury-free season, the Detroit Pistons once again find themselves in the mix for finishing in the top 8 of the Eastern Conference. However, there is a real chance that this team falls short once again.

With that said, as they prepare for the last two months of season, the Pistons have two things going for them. One, they have the best player of the six teams vying for the final three playoff spots. And stars generally make it to the playoffs. When all else equal, bet on the big names to get the job done.

Second, the Pistons have the 7th easiest schedule in the NBA to close the season. That could prove huge, considering it’s much more calmer than other teams like the Hornets and Nets. Could that change their outlook?
