The Signature Moments Argument

Every MVP season features games or moments that cause you to just sit back and say, “Wow, that is just incredible! You can’t stop that!”

And Paul George has more than a few of these games already this season. Let’s look at some of the most notable:

  • 47 points and 15 rebounds against the Nets in Brooklyn, including 25 in the 4th quarter
  • Back-to-back 43 point games against the Kings and the Jazz (both OKC victories)
  • 37 points in his first game playing at the Lakers after infamously denying a meeting with the team in the summer (OKC won of course)
  • 43 points at Miami including 10 threes
  • 45 points against the Rockets in Houston in an MVP showdown with James Harden followed by a 47 point, 12 rebound, 10 assist game against the Blazers

All that and there are still 25 games left!
