Oklahoma City Thunder

The team relocated to Oklahoma City in 2008 and their best draft picks were made when they played in Seattle, but Sam Presti has been there since day one. Presti and his scouting team are responsible for drafting future MVP talents Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden: a 2012 NBA finals core that was sadly broken up to soon.

A small market team has not been able to find this much generational talent in the draft since arguably the early Orlando Magic when Pat Williams was in office. During that tenure, Williams drafted Anderson and Scott, in 1989 and 1990, followed by Shaquille O’Neal and Penny Hardaway, in another set of back to back drafts just two years later.

Hits: Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Domantas Sabonis, Serge Ibaka, Steven Adams, Reggie Jackson, Andre Roberson, Nick Collison

Misses: Cameron Payne, Josh Huestis, Perry Jones, Mitch McGary, Johan Petro
