The Defending Champs have done a stellar job at scouting. With Steph Curry (picked at 7) being their highest pick since 2002, they have constantly been able to find productive players in later rounds. The most notable ones have been Draymond Green and Monta Ellis.

Draymond is a former defensive player of the year, and though Monta was undersized and never made a single all-star team — partly due to playing in the Western Conference — he became a high scoring two guard that averaged 20 to 25 points a game, following the breakup of the “We Believe Warriors” core.

Prior to the Warriors dynasty that we are all witnessing at this very moment, Warriors fans were upset when Lacob and Myers chose to deal popular player, Ellis, to the Bucks for an injury prone Bogut. Not only is it clear now that they won that trade, but they have also gone on to draft players that fit in perfectly alongside Steph, Klay, and Draymond in their fast pace styled offense.

Hits: Draymond Green, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Monta Ellis, Jason Richardson, Patrick Mccaw, Harrison Barnes, Mike Dunleavy Jr., Troy Murphy, Marco Belinelli, Gilbert Arenas

Misses: Ekpe Udoh, Charles Jenkins, Ike Diogu, Ognjen Kuzmic, Patrick O’Bryant
