The Golden Nugget

The Denver Nuggets have found themselves maturing nicely this season lead by Nikola Jokic. The 2018-19 Nuggets have been able to battle virtually all season with the defending champions for the top seed in the Western Conference all season.

However, what might become a x-factor to the Nuggets surpassing the Warriors could be the return of 2018 free agent pick-up Isaiah Thomas. Thomas is a career 18 point per game scorer who will be able to give the Denver bench significant punch. As we head toward the regular season finish line, Thomas might be a piece that allows the Denver team to take the next step to becoming a championship caliber team this season.

In addition to Isaiah Thomas with the Nuggets, I believe there’s also a handful of other players in the NBA that could be something of a lucky charm if they are to play major roles down the stretch for their respective teams.

Here I list out six other players with Isaiah Thomas to make a “ Lucky 7”  that can have big time effects on their teams and the playoff race.
