NBA: Biggest x-factors heading into the final month of the season
By Kyle Crabbe
DeMar DeRozan, San Antonio Spurs
After spending his first eight seasons with the Raptors organization, DeMar DeRozan has had an excellent first season in San Antonio under the great Gregg Popovich. Playing alongside other star level players like LaMarcus Aldridge and Rudy Gay has allowed DeRozan to become more of a playmaker this season.
As the Spurs jokey for making a post-season appearance, the play of DeRozan over the last two months of the season will be huge in determining how far this San Antonio Spurs team goes.
Andrew Bogut, Golden State Warriors
As a member of 2015 Golden State championship winning team, Bogut offers excellent defensive skills and championship experience to an already dominate team. Bogut will be able to sure up the Warriors defense throughout the playoffs and balance off what the Warriors now have in Center DeMarcus Cousins.
Bogut might quietly be a huge factor to why the Warriors sweep through the entire playoffs to a easy third straight NBA Championship.
