NBA: Biggest x-factors heading into the final month of the season

As the world of the Los Angeles Lakers seem to rise and fall with every win or lost, the bigger question is if the Laker’s make the playoffs, how far can they go? While the Laker’s playoff hopes don’t look very bright at the moment, it’s more because the Lakers don’t have their x-factor playing with them currently.
The biggest reason the Lakers win or lose will be due to the play of Lonzo Ball. Ball is a unique talent that was drafted 2nd overall in the 2017 NBA Draft for his supreme court vision and passing talents, his un-canning ability to play all aspects of the basketball game well and effectively compliment all his teammates respective basketball games.
Ball’s greatest tool is his sky high basketball IQ with allows him to make the right basketball play in over 95 percent of the basketball situations he is placed in.
What Ball brings most to the Lakers right now is his defense. When Ball plays over 30 minutes on the court this season the Lakers net is over a +5. Ball has become one of the better perimeter defenders in the entire NBA. For the Lakers to make the playoffs and make any noise in the 2019 NBA post-season the Lakers will need a healthy and playing big minutes Lonzo Ball.
