Are the Warriors still too dominant?

The Golden State Warriors don’t have the best record in the NBA, but are still considered to be the overwhelming favorites to win their third-straight NBA Championship. But, you can’t help but ask, are they still too dominant for them to be knocked off in the playoffs?

Golden State nearly fell at the hands of the Rockets in last year’s playoffs, and depending on who you ask would’ve lost if Chris Paul was not injured, but is there a team in the West that has enough to do the same this year?

It’s tough to say at this point in the season, but the statistics say that this could be the year where the Warriors get knocked off. While the Warriors sport the best offense in the NBA, but have a middle-of-the-pack defense. Often times, the key to winning big in the NBA falls on the defensive end and not on the offense.

If that holds true, perhaps it’s not out of the realm of possibility for the Warriors to be upset in the playoffs.
