2019 NBA Draft: 20 prospects to watch during the NCAA Tournament

Ja Morant, Guard, Murray State (#3 Ranked Prospect)
Ja Morant is set to be a top pick in the NBA Draft next year. He looks primed to be a star in the NBA. The sophomore from Murray State has was it takes to be a great combo guard in the NBA. Morant can score inside and outside and, he is also averaging 10.0 assists a game this season for Murray State.
Ja Morant is arguably the most exciting prospect in the NCAA outside of Zion Williamson. He is explosive and can fill up the highlight reel with incredible slams. Morant is someone that could quickly become a star in the NBA. He has a great ability to score and distribute which should make him a top-3 pick in the NBA Draft.
Morant’s Murray State will take on Markus Howard and Marquette in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday. That game will showcase two of the best scoring guards in the country. This will give Morant an opportunity to show his talent against better competition than he faced most of the year.
Morant comes into the tournament having scored 27, 29, and 36 in his last three games. It will be interesting to see how he fares against a struggling Marquette squad on Thursday. He has Murray State primed for a possible 12-5 upset.
