Michigan has multiple players who could be drafted in this year’s NBA Draft. The first of these players is Charles Matthews. Matthews is a senior who is averaging 12.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists. His scoring is down from 13.0 points last year when he helped Michigan get to the national championship game.

Matthews has struggled to score lately. He has not reached double digits in any of his last five games. He has had multiple 20-point games this year including a 21-point performance in a win over North Carolina early in the year.

Matthews is solid all-around player. While he may not light up the scoreboard like others on this list, he can give an NBA team a solid role player to bring off the bench.

Michigan’s next big draft prospect is Jordan Poole. Poole made a name for himself as a freshman during last year’s NCAA Tournament when he hit a deep game-winning three against Houston. This year, Poole has turned into a major part of Michigan’s success.

Poole is averaging 12.8 points which is good for second most on the team. He has been fairly efficient from the field this year at 43.9 percent. He also shoots 37.2 percent from behind the arc making him a dangerous shooter.

Jordan Poole could be a great player in the NBA someday. He has the potential to be a good starting shooting guard in the league. He needs some more development, but he looks primed to be a great player in the league in a few years.

Charles Matthews and Jordan Poole helped lead the Wolverines to a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Michigan has a chance for another deep tournament run.
