March Madness is one of the most fun times of the year. It is very exciting basketball and NBA fans get to get a good look the NBA Draft prospects on college basketball’s biggest stage

In a recent article, Tobi Altizer (@goskins30) looked at the top 20 prospects to watch during the big dance. This included the likes of Zion Williamson, R.J. Barrett, Ja Morant, Rui Hachimura, and some of the other top prospects.

Often times, it is just as fun to watch lesser known players play great in the tournament and elevate their draft stock as Donte DiVincenzo did last season.

This article will discuss some of the lesser talked about prospects to watch in the tournament that could be sleepers in both the tournament and the NBA draft. In addition a couple of prospects to watch who didn’t make it to the Big Dance will be discussed.

Let’s begin with sleeper prospects to watch in the NCAA Tournament.

March Madness Prospects

Tyler Herro SG, Kentucky

Tyler Herro is currently ranked 19th overall in ESPN’s draft rankings. Herro has been known to be quite in some games, but can also be a very exciting player in others. He is often overshadowed by his teammates PJ Washington and Keldon Johnson, but when he catches fire he is a real fun player to watch.

March Madness could bring out the best in him and I wouldn’t be surprised to see one or two 30-point games by Herro at some point in the tournament. Herro is an elite shooter and has the ball handling abilities to create his own shot, but also plays well off the ball. Herro has the potential to be one of the most exciting players in the tournament this year.

He can really elevate his draft stock by showing the ability to defend and step up on the offensive end in big moments during the tournament.
