Honorable Mention: Mac McClung SG, Georgetown

Mac McClung will likely stay in college for a few more years, but he will likely eventually make it to the NBA, so that doesn’t mean you can’t go ahead and start scouting his games now. Pretty much everything said above about Langford applies to McClung.

He will relentlessly penetrate to the rim and also can pull up in the mid range. Like Langford, he also could use some work on his 3-point range jumpers to start making them at a more consistent rate. What separates McClung is his highlight reel dunks.

Whenever McClung gets the ball on a fast break it’s bound to be exciting. He is another player that, if you decide to watch an NIT game, you might consider Georgetown in hopes of seeing an exciting performance from Mac McClung.
