Romeo Langford, Indiana

Whether it was a nagging back injury, or flat out inconsistency, Romeo Langford was not who Indiana hoped he would be this year.

Multiple single-digit performances and field goal percentages as low as 20 percent caused the Hoosiers to miss the big dance which is something they didn’t expect from their Five-star recruit leading the way. With teammate Juwan Morgan also averaging over 15 a night, missing the NCAA Tournament was something that caused critics to go after the freshman, some encouraging him to even stay in school another year.

If Langford decides to ignore the critics and declare for the draft, a lot of his stock relies on his level of play in the N.I.T Tournament. He’s slid all the way from a top five player in the draft to a mid first rounder, but there is a way for him to redeem himself.

If Langford can consistently lead Indiana to a deep run in the relegated dance, then his projected lottery pick in this years draft could be justified after all.
