Minnesota Timberwolves
Derrick Rose is a free agent with a questionable health history, Tyus Jones is also a free agent and may get a higher than warranted offer to scare off the Minnesota Timberwolves from matching (not to mention Jones seems more suited for a bench role) and Jeff Teague is solid, but unspectacular at point guard.
Mike Conley would help the off the court tensions built from Jimmy Butler, Tom Thibodeau and the whole mess that started the 2018-19 season in Minnesota. Giving the rest of the T’Wolves an upgrade from Teague to Conley would excel the development of Dario Saric, Karl-Anthony Towns and the others.
If Minnesota could use their 2019 lottery pick to turn Andrew Wiggins horrid contract into Mike Conley, they should run with that and look to be a possible playoff team in 2019-20 depending on how the Western Conference gets shaken up in the off-season.
