Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns have an obvious need at point guard and always rumored to be trying to contend if giving the right deal. Phoenix has enough depth on the wing to provide Memphis with a small forward if they like Tyler Johnson (who is an expiring contract after next season) as the filler.

The worries about the size of Conley’s contract taking up their cap could be minimized by the fact he expires in 2021 and the Suns wouldn’t be a major free agent destination until then any way.  Conley would be the leader of men to bring stability to a franchise that seems all over the place at times.

The Suns might be a Conley away from this team’s young talent finally breaking through, and if they firmly believe that there should be nothing that stands in the way for a deal.
