20. Minnesota Timberwolves (33-40)

The Minnesota Timberwolves are back where they don’t want to be – in a place termed NBA purgatory. They’re pretty much irrelevant in the Western Conference and aren’t bad enough where they’re going to get a good enough pick to chance their franchise.

The good news is that they have Karl-Anthony Towns as a potential franchise cornerstone. However, after that, everything is really an unknown. Even with Andrew Wiggins, who has had his ups and downs through his young career.

The Wolves need to do some roster shuffling, there’s no question about that. However, that’s something that will be easier said than done. Short of finding a team that would be willing to take Wiggins, if the Wolves are ready to move on from him.
