10. New Orleans Pelicans: Bol Bol, Oregon
Assuming that the New Orleans Pelicans are going to lose Anthony Davis via trade at some point during the summer, potentially even at the NBA Draft itself, don’t be surprised if they took a big swing and tried to land the possible next unicorn.
We haven’t seen much of Bol Bol, but in the short sample size that he did play with Oregon he was mightily impressive. Averaging 12 points, 10 rebound and three blocks on 52 percent shooting from 3-point range, Bol was pretty unique.
It’s the type of skillset that we haven’t seen from a prospect since Kristaps Porzingis a few years ago.
Due to his injury history, though, it would be a risk.
