11. Minnesota Timberwolves: Darius Garland, Vanderbilt
The Minnesota Timberwolves would be ecstatic if they could find the answer to their point guard problems during the NBA Draft, and landing Darius Garland at No. 11 would be a huge win for this team moving forward.
Had it not been for his injury, you could make the argument that Garland could’ve been a top 7-10 pick in this class. Taking him late in the lottery would be house money for the Wolves, even if they were to miss on the “elite prospects”.
Garland would fit right in with this team’s young core, that probably needs to begin producing a bit more sooner rather than later.
