16. Detroit Pistons: Kevin Porter Jr., USC

The Detroit Pistons don’t have a ton of flexibility when it comes to cap space, so it’s imperative that they hit a home run during the NBA Draft when they have the chance to. That’s why with the 16th pick, they should take a shot on a player like Kevin Porter Jr.

He’s the type of talent that probably should be taken higher than 16, but didn’t have the best of freshman seasons during his time at USC. Nevertheless, he did prove that he can score at a high level and has great size.

Porter is the type of player that could come in and win the starting job in a place like Detroit, but even if he isn’t ready he could develop in a few years.
