2. Chicago Bulls: Ja Morant, Murray State
During the first round of the NCAA Tournament, Ja Morant became the first player since Draymond Green to log a triple-double in the tournament. Even though he saw his Racers get bounced in the second round, there’s no question that Morant improved his draft stock.
At this point, it’s a pretty safe bet that Morant will be the second pick. And in this simulation, it works out perfectly as the Chicago Bulls could very much use a dynamic point guard to add to their young core.
Morant is the perfect prospect for the Bulls, as he could grow next to Zach LaVine and Lauri Makkanen and potentially make life a lot easier for everyone in the lineup. Plus, there’s no question that Morant is the type of electric player that could reinvigorate this franchise.
