5. Phoenix Suns: Cam Reddish, Duke
Before the season started, many expected Cam Reddish to be the third overall player taken in this year’s NBA Draft. After all, he was playing on the bright stage that is Duke and next to two other superb athletes.
However, as is often the case, Reddish has been nitpicked almost all season, playing next to Zion and Barrett. While he has some strong areas to build on heading into the NBA, there are some red flags in his repertoire as well. However, should the Phoenix Suns get a chance to draft him at No. 5, they shouldn’t hesitate.
Snagging a top 3 talent at 5 should be considered as a win for the Suns. At this point, they should continue to compile as many assets as they possibly can and hope some combination of them eventually works.
