NBA Draft: 4 prospects worthy of being the No. 1 overall pick

Taking a closer look at the four best candidates to be selected No. 1 overall in the 2019 NBA Draft
With many teams going into full tank mode, we can look toward which NBA team might get the 2019 NBA Draft first overall selection. Will it be the recently lucky Cleveland Cavaliers, or it could end up being the first number one for Broadway and New York Knicks since Patrick Ewing, or maybe for consecutive years land in Phoenix with the Suns?
But the bigger question who might any of these teams be selecting with that prized number one pick?
For many basketball fans this could be the best time of the year. With March Madness well underway and the NBA season going into its fourth quarter basketball, fans are being treated during these times to big-time feature games with notable players performing. Of these notable players performing only a few will be able to put their name in the conversation for being selected come June first.
While it has seemed to have become a far gone conclusion that Duke’s star freshman Zion Williamson has been selected as the 2019 No. 1 pick, the fortunes of Williamson and performances he will have in the NCAA tournament can alter that future. Williamson has indeed had a tremendous freshman season with the Duke Blue Devils this year in Cameron.
However, I believe there are a few notable talents also joining Williamson not only in the 2019 NBA Draft but in the conversation for the best prospect of the lottery potentials. Here are the four best candidates to be selected with the No. 1 overall pick.
