1. Milwaukee Bucks

Two words: Greek Freak. Giannis Antetokounmpo has completely transformed the Milwaukee Bucks into the best team in the Eastern Conference. The Bucks have been a lower seeded playoff team for the past few years but thanks to the quick development of not just Giannis but the Bucks as a whole, this team blew away their expectations and took this season by storm clinching the best record in the East and possibly the league as they are one win away from 60.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has made it his duty to show the league that he is the clear MVP. Averaging 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists while shooting just under 60 percent from the field he has brought his game to the next level at just 24 years old. Giannis is also surrounded by a wide variety of talented players including All-Stars Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez along with Eric Bledsoe, 2017 ROTY Malcolm Brogdon, and role players Nikola Mirotic and Tony Snell.

The Bucks are the real deal and it is going to be undoubtedly tough for any team to get past the Greek Freak and his crew.

With the Western Conference essentially already decided, the East is going to be the more exciting and competitive side of NBA basketball this April into May. So many relatively even teams it’ll be a lot harder to really depict a winner for each matchup in the East.

With the seeding not even complete yet it’s going to be a fight to the end for some teams and an all-around exciting time all the way through to the finals this postseason. We’ll just have to wait and see who will take the crown and become the new king of the East.
