9. Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic have been in a fierce battle with not only the Heat but the Nets and Pistons as well for playoff contention, and being the weakest out of the four have the best odds of just missing the cut. Nikola Vucevic has been having a fantastic year (20.2 pts, 12rbs) and is finally getting the attention he’s deserved.

The newly awarded All-Star with the help of rising star Aaron Gordon has been doing their best to keep the Magic in the playoff race. This team doesn’t have much to hang on to other than hope, and even if they were to obtain the 8th seed they most likely wouldn’t make it past the first round. It’d still be a sight for sore eyes for Magic fans as the team hasn’t made the playoffs since the 2011-12 season.

At the end of the day, Orlando will have to rely on some form of magic if they’re to beat the better end of the group left fighting for a playoff seed.
