6. Detroit Pistons

The Detroit Pistons are at the top of the great divide between the conference’s contenders and average to low playoff teams. The Pistons have a great frontcourt duo in Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond that has been commanding their team the whole year.

Reggie Jackson has also been playing well but aside from their three top players, there isn’t much noise coming from the Pistons talent-wise. Drummond and Griffin are enough to take a team to the playoffs, but if the Pistons want to really compete they’re going to need a little more from the rest of their arsenal.

Detroit is an interesting to watch heading into the playoffs, as they might have the firepower to make things interesting in a first-round playoff series.
