NBA: 5 biggest disappointments from the 2018-19 season

While the Boston Celtics may not have been the disappointment on the level of the other teams on this list, I think it’s only fair to include them on the list of teams that have been somewhat of a failure during the regular season thus far.

They could change it all and no one would remember what they did in the regular season if they were to run through the East in the playoffs and make it to the NBA Finals. Let’s remember, many expected them to run through the conference with little-to-no resistance after it was announced that LeBron James was heading West.

That simply has not happened, and the Celtics will have to win on the road during the playoffs if they’re going to make it to the Finals. That won’t be easy, and it’s not a given this team has a deep playoff run in them.
